Challenge

Mimi’s Cat Sitters needed a visual identity that reflected the comfort and trust at the heart of the business. Because the service centres around caring for cats in their own homes, the brand had to feel warm, safe and personable. The owner also wanted the identity to feel cute but still modern and clean, with a largely neutral colour palette and only subtle accents of colour. Since the business is a family venture inspired by her daughter Mimi, the branding also needed to capture a sense of playfulness and approachability without feeling overly childish.

Solution

To balance warmth with simplicity, the identity uses a soft neutral base palette complemented by carefully selected warm-toned accent colours, adding personality while keeping the overall look calm and contemporary. The logo centres on a minimal line-drawn cat illustration, chosen to communicate friendliness and charm while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic.
This simple line style ensures the mark remains versatile, working effectively across a wide variety of backgrounds as well as in solid white or black for flexible brand applications.
